Oribe

A classical copper saturate glaze with pine needle ash reconstructed from 16th century compositions. Fired in very light reduction over an inclusion body containing granular feldspar, then soaked in acid, then ash lye post-firing to reveal the unique rich green colour of this glaze breaking to white over texture.
