A gift card for throwing lessons at Troy Town. Our expert staff will teach you to make ceramics in the Anglo-Japanese tradition, which will then be reduction fired in our gas kiln. The gift card contains a message about the course.

Designed for complete beginners, in four weekly evening sessions you will learn the basics of working with clay on the wheel, producing yunomi drinking cups and small bowls which will then be stoneware gas-fired and glazed with traditional Japanese glazes, which are produced in-house.

Course specifics:

• The course is £320per person including all materials and firings.
• Sessions are 2 hours long, usually running 7-9pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings across two weeks. The course is 4 sessions long.
• All sessions are designed for close instruction, with no more than two students in the studio at any one time.
